President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the opening of the medical mask production facility created by “Baku Textile Factory” LLC in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park on April 6.
After getting acquainted with the institution, President Ilham Aliyev addressed the people of Azerbaijan.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and head of “Baku Textile Factory” LLC Sakina Babayeva informed the head of state and the first lady about the enterprise.
It should be noted that due to the sharp increase in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a huge shortage of medical supplies and protective equipment, including masks, in all countries. In addition to stopping the export of medical masks, the producing countries also stopped the export of production equipment and raw materials. President Ilham Aliyev is always in the center of attention of all the works carried out in Azerbaijan related to the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic. The head of our state pays special attention to the issue of ensuring the health of the population. According to the order of President Ilham Aliyev, the relevant state institutions managed to bring medical mask production equipment and raw materials to Azerbaijan in a short period of time.
It was reported that the medical mask production enterprise created by “Baku Textile Factory” LLC was provided with a suitable place in the territory of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park and was given the status of a resident of the Industrial Park.
